This
plug in is an extension to the plug-in project we did with TC Electronics in 20
for Powercore and later TDM. The new native CL1B for VST AU and RTAS is now
launched as a direct collaboration between TUBE-TECH and Swedish company Softube.
Softube did all the programming for the sound engine of the CL1B from TC, and
this time, they have also done the heavy updated and very good looking GUI.
Softube develops plug-in's in a totally different
way than everybody else, using the mathematical parameters of the circuit, and
they hold several patents for this. The result is a "soft" CL1B that really
stands out when compared to other software compressors. Just as TUBE-TECH does
amongst hardware. The Plug-in comes so close, that it really shows the user many
of the characteristics of the hardware.
The Ehrlund Acoustic Pickup (EAP) is a linear microphone for acoustic string
instruments - guitar, violin, double bass, etc. Attached with 'Tack-It' the EAP
can be repositioned numerous times to find the best position. The Pickup has
high impedence and is supplied with a 1.5 metre cable; available with or without

Introduced
at the AES Convention, the Tube-Tech RM 2 two-slot rack vertically accommodates
any two Tube-Tech M Series tube-based modules, such as the PM 1A and / or the EM
1A, and in turn gives you more reason to buy more stuff. The RM 2's two
rack-unit frame lets you own and mount multiple Tube-Tech modules together with
one small two-channel rack.
